We're looking for experienced Site Supervisors to join Fleetwood's Queensland Construction team and play a key role in delivering modular and mixed-construction projects across education, community infrastructure, government, housing and commercial sectors throughout Queensland.
Reporting to a Project Manager, you'll take ownership of site delivery, coordinating subcontractors, managing safety and compliance, monitoring quality outcomes and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time and to budget.
Unlike traditional metro-based construction roles, Fleetwood's Site Supervisors work across a diverse portfolio of projects located throughout Queensland. From regional schools and community facilities to large-scale modular construction projects, no two projects are the same. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, autonomy, building strong subcontractor relationships and taking pride in delivering successful projects in challenging and rewarding environments.
This role is offered as a 6-month fixed-term contract with a possibility of permanent employment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day site operations to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with project schedules.
- Coordinate subcontractors, labour, materials, plant and equipment to support successful project outcomes.
- Monitor site progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager on programme, quality, safety and commercial performance.
- Ensure all works are completed in accordance with WHSEQ requirements, project specifications and Fleetwood standards.
- Lead site inductions, toolbox talks, inspections and safety activities.
- Manage subcontractor performance, site access, compliance and quality expectations.
- Complete site documentation including daily diaries, inspections, ITPs, safety records and project reporting.
- Coordinate site logistics including transport, cranes, deliveries and contractor mobilisation.
- Identify and resolve site issues, risks and construction challenges proactively.
- Assist with defect management, commissioning activities and project close-out requirements.
- Maintain strong working relationships with subcontractors, clients, local authorities and internal stakeholders.
- Promote a positive safety culture and lead by example in all aspects of site operations.
