Job summary

Gforce Employment Solutions is seeking a Quarry Operator for an immediate start on a regional Victoria site. This hands-on role involves operating excavators and mobile plant safely to support quarry production.

You will perform pre-starts, load and stockpile materials, maintain a clean, safe site, and work within a small team to meet production targets in Ballarat region.

Qualifications

• Experience operating excavators or similar heavy machinery.
• Current driver’s licence.
• Quarry, civil, construction, or earthmoving experience highly regarded, with current tickets.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators and mobile plant safely and efficiently.
• Load, move, and stockpile materials.
• Complete daily pre-starts and basic equipment checks.
• Assist with general quarry and labouring duties.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Report hazards, faults and maintenance requirements.
• Support production targets while following safety procedures.
• Work collaboratively as part of a small site team.
