Job summary

This role is with a family‑owned quarrying and construction materials supplier in regional Victoria. You will operate excavators and other heavy plant, load and stockpile materials, and perform daily safety checks as part of a small site team.

You should have experience with excavators or similar machinery, a strong safety mindset, a current driver’s licence, and a reliable, hardworking, team‑oriented approach. Quarry or earthmoving experience with tickets is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators and mobile plant safely and efficiently.
• Load, move, and stockpile materials.
• Complete daily pre-starts and basic equipment checks.
• Assist with general quarry and labouring duties.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Report hazards, faults and maintenance requirements.
• Support production targets while following safety procedures.
• Work collaboratively as part of a small site team.
