Job summary

Lima South Quarry Pty. Ltd. is seeking Excavator and Loader Operators to feed the fixed plant, stockpile, and load trucks in a North East Victoria quarry. You must be flexible to work rostered Saturdays as required and enjoy a family-owned, supportive team environment.

Previous experience with excavators/loaders and the required tickets are preferred. A great hourly rate plus overtime, super, and a working away allowance are on offer.

Qualifications

• Experience with excavators or loaders desirable.
• Loader and excavator operator tickets required.
• Red/White Construction Card required.

Responsibilities

• Feed crushing plant as part of a team to meet production schedules.
• Set up and run mobile or fixed crushing and screening plant.
• Operate excavator or loader as part of the crushing team.
• Carry out basic repair and maintenance on plant & equipment.

Lima South Quarry is a family owned business operating for over 20 years in North East Victoria. We are rapidly growing with approximately 120 staff and offer long term job security working with a great team.

The Role

Due to ongoing growth we are looking for Excavator & Loader Operators. These duties include feeding the fixed plant as well as stockpiling and loading trucks. As an Operator you will need to be flexible to work within a quarry environment, and be willing to work rostered Saturdays as and when required.

Excavator & Loader Operator Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure site safety rules are being followed at all times
• Feed crushing plant as part of a team of operators to meet production schedules.
• Set up and run the mobile or fixed crushing and screening plant.
• Operate excavator or loader as part of the crushing team.
Carry out basic repair and maintenance work to the plant & equipment.
