Workforce Extensions Footscray, our valued client is seeking a professional and quality focused Quarry Plant Operator in Epping to join their growing team.

An innovative and developing business, our client is one of Victoria's leading producers of aggregate, crushed rock,and concrete, using predominantly recycled materials.

An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated Quarry Plant Operator, to become an integral part of the team based in Epping. The position will be working split shift across day shift, the start time are as follows Day 5.30am-4.30pm, You MUST be avaiable to work on Day Shift. This is a Permanent - Fulltime opportunity with lots of overtime offered!

What you'll be doing:

• You're a gun crushing and screening operator, in a fixed or mobile setting. You're an expert operator on front end loaders (medium-large, face loading and stockpiling applications) and excavator (up to 50T).
• Primarily you're a leader, ensuring our people and our processes are optimised on a daily basis for maximum performance.
• You'll draw on your experience to identify areas for improvement and create actions to realise continuous improvement. Above all, you'll always maintain the highest standards of safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promoting a healthy and safe work environment.
• Operating fixed (quarry crushing plant) and mobile equipment (FEL, Excavator, Water Truck)
• Supporting the Quarry Manager and the Team Leader to coordinate the sites operations safely and effectively.
• Manual cleaning and clearing of rock/dirt material as required.

Who you are:

• If you're excited by building something great, we want to hear from you. Safe operation is second nature to you.
• You're experienced in quarry operations, with deep knowledge of fixed plant and mobile plant operation.
• You're available for work Monday to Friday with Saturday work also available.
• Experience in a similar role is desirable. Quarry experience is a MUST.
