Job summary

Complete Staff Solutions is seeking an experienced Quality Officer to support a major infrastructure program across four regions: North, South, East and West. The role involves on-site work with travel between project sites and occasional Parramatta office presence.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in quality roles within infrastructure or construction, strong knowledge of QMS and ITPs, and the ability to work with contractors and stakeholders to ensure compliance and continual improvement.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in a similar Quality Officer or quality-focused role.
• Experience within infrastructure or construction projects.
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and quality auditing.
• Experience reviewing ITPs, quality plans and project documentation.
• Knowledge of relevant quality and construction legislation.
• Strong analytical, investigation and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Confidence working with contractors, engineers and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
• Construction Industry White Card – essential.

Quality Officer | Major Infrastructure Projects

Are you an experienced Quality Officer with a background in infrastructure or construction?

We are seeking an experienced Quality Officer to join a major infrastructure delivery program, supporting projects across 4 regions – North, South, East and West. The successful candidate will be allocated to the region closest to them.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys getting out on site and working across a variety of projects rather than being based in the same location every day.

About the Role

Working across multiple major infrastructure projects, you will support project teams, contractors and delivery partners to ensure quality standards, technical specifications and compliance requirements are met.

Your duties will include:

• Conducting site surveillance, quality inspections and audits
• Reviewing Quality Management Plans and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)

About You

To be successful, you will ideally have:

• 3–5 years’ experience in a similar Quality Officer or quality-focused role
• Experience within infrastructure or construction projects
• Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and quality auditing
• Experience reviewing ITPs, quality plans and project documentation
• Knowledge of relevant quality and construction legislation
• Strong analytical, investigation and problem-solving skills

• Confidence working with contractors, engineers and stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
• Construction Industry White Card – essential
• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience
• Internal or External Auditor qualifications would be highly regarded

The Details

Pay Rate: $550–$600 per day + Super
Contract: 6 months, with possibility of extension
Hours: 40 hours per week
Start: ASAP, subject to pre-employment checks
Location: Projects all over Sydney – North, South, East & West
Office: Parramatta when required
Working Arrangement: Predominantly site-based, approximately 3 days per week across project locations, 1 day in the Parramatta office and 1 day WFH, depending on project requirements
Pre-employment Checks: Police Check and 2 employment references
