Job summary

Silverstrand Developments is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to lead quality management on civil construction projects across Australia. The role involves implementing QMPs, coordinating inspections, and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001.

You will support project teams, manage documentation, and travel as required for DIDO/FIFO roles, with a base salary plus super, vehicle and KPI bonuses.

Qualifications

• A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Previous experience in a Quality Engineer, Project Engineer, or Quality Assurance role within civil construction.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems and ISO 9001 requirements.
• Experience delivering infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, earthworks, renewable energy, water, mining, or utilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Experience managing inspections, testing, and quality documentation.
• The ability to work collaboratively with clients, consultants, and construction teams.

Responsibilities

Base Salary + Super + Vehicle + KPI Bonus + (Allowances/ Uplifts if working away)

SEQ based role, however ideal candidate willing to travel as required for project locations - DIDO/ FIFO.

Experienced working on Bridge, Earthworks, Roads, Pipelines, Renewable projects.
