Schindler Lifts Australia is seeking a Quality & Safety Coordinator based in Alexandria, NSW. Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, you will help develop, implement and maintain Schindler's QMS and Safety Management System, working with Engineering, Installation and Service teams to ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree or equivalent in quality, safety or engineering.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Quality & Safety Coordinator to join our team based in Alexandria, NSW.

Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, this role plays a key part in supporting the ongoing development, implementation and maintenance of Schindler's Quality Management System (QMS) and Safety Management System. You will work closely with operational teams across Engineering, Installation and Service operations to ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements and company procedures.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Degree qualifications in Engineering, Quality Management, Safety Compliance or a related discipline preferred
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a quality, compliance or safety-related role
• Experience within the lift industry, construction, manufacturing or a related technical environment highly regarded
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to analyse information, identify trends and drive process improvements
• Experience coordinating audits, corrective actions and compliance activities
• Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
• Ability to process and communicate technical information effectivelyCommitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Support the Quality Manager in maintaining and improving the Quality Management System (QMS)
• Review and update quality documentation with process owners
