Job summary

Pomona Distilling Co is seeking great chefs to join our team as we grow. We operate multiple concepts—from Pomona Smokehouse and Distillery Restaurant to Providore, Barrel House and Cask—so no two days look the same.

We welcome applicants across the spectrum, including apprentices, junior chefs, CDPs, sous chefs and kitchen leaders. A Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or Diploma of Hospitality is preferred, and sponsorship opportunities are available for the right candidates.

• Candidates should hold a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or a Diploma of Hospitality.

We run a diverse range of kitchens and food concepts, from smoke and live fire to restaurant dining, functions, events and production, so no two days necessarily look the same.

We run a diverse range of kitchens and food concepts, from smoke and live fire to restaurant dining, functions, events and production, so no two days necessarily look the same.

Our operation includes

• Pomona Smokehouse: BBQ, smoking and live-fire cooking
• Distillery Restaurant: contemporary dining and hospitality
• Pomona Providore: smoked products, takeaway and food production
• Barrel House: weddings, functions and large-scale events
• Cask: our speakeasy bar and restaurant
• Off-site catering: including events at our sister venue in Brisbane

We're looking for chefs across the board, from apprentices and junior chefs through to experienced CDPs, sous chefs and kitchen leaders.

About you

• You care about what you do, enjoy working as part of a team and want to keep developing your craft
• You hold a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or a Diploma of Hospitality
