Barney's Bar & Bistro in Pomonal, VIC is seeking a passionate Cook or Qualified Chef to join our team. We welcome apprentices and provide training to help you start and grow your career in the kitchen.

This role offers flexibility with casual, part-time or full-time options, weekend shifts, and a friendly, team-focused environment in a beautiful location. Previous kitchen experience is valued, with Certificate III in Commercial Cookery preferred for qualified chefs.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate the standard skills expected of a cook or chef – from preparation through to service.
• Work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment.
• Show pride, consistency, and attention to detail in food presentation.
• Contribute positively to a small team.
• Be available to work weekends (essential).
• For qualified chefs: Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent required.
• For cooks: Previous kitchen experience required (minimum 1 year preferred).
