Job summary

MH Restaurants Pty Ltd in Maroochydore is seeking an experienced chef or kitchen manager to lead a team as we launch our newest location. You will be hands-on, focus on great food, customer service and profitable operations, with strong support from owners and management.

You will train at the current store before opening, ensuring you are fully prepared to drive operations and a high‑performing team from day one.

Qualifications

• Strong chef or kitchen management background.
• Natural leader who motivates and develops a team.
• Hands-on leader who leads by example.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Understanding of food costs, labour and profitability.
• Passion for quality food, efficiency and customer service.
• QSR and fast-paced takeaway experience.
• Modern Australian, Asian fusion and Sushi experience is a plus.

Are you an experienced chef or kitchen manager ready to step away from the traditional restaurant kitchen and take your career in an exciting new direction?

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves food, enjoys working with people and wants to be part of a fresh, fast-paced hospitality concept.

You\'ll be responsible for leading your team, delivering great food and customer service, and overseeing the day-to-day running of the store, with a strong support network behind you.

This isn\'t a role where you\'ll be left to manage everything on your own. You\'ll have the ongoing support of our experienced owners and operations management, who are actively involved in the business and happy to roll up their sleeves and assist whenever needed.

THE OPPORTUNITY

You\'ll be involved in launching our newest location, helping to build a fantastic team and creating a great customer experience.

And the best part? You\'ll have time to learn the business before opening!

The successful applicant will initially undertake hands-on training at our current store, giving you the opportunity to become totally familiar with our menu, systems, operations and brand.

This is a temporary training arrangement leading up to the opening, where you\'ll then take on your permanent management position.

You\'ll be well prepared, confident and ready to hit the ground running!
