Job summary

MH Restaurants Pty Ltd in Maroochydore is seeking an experienced chef or kitchen manager to lead a team as we launch our newest location. You will be hands-on, focus on great food, customer service and profitable operations, with strong support from owners and management.

You will train at the current store before opening, ensuring you are fully prepared to drive operations and a high‑performing team from day one.

Qualifications

• Strong chef or kitchen management background.
• Natural leader who motivates and develops a team.
• Hands-on leader who leads by example.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Understanding of food costs, labour and profitability.
• Passion for quality food, efficiency and customer service.
• QSR and fast-paced takeaway experience.
• Modern Australian, Asian fusion and Sushi experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the kitchen team and ensure great food and service.
• Oversee day-to-day store operations with support from owners and management.
• Be hands-on and lead by example in a fast-paced environment.
• Participate in launching a new location and building a team.
• Complete hands-on training at current store before opening.
