Job summary

Environment Protection Authority Victoria is seeking a Payroll Advisor to deliver end-to-end payroll services across the employee lifecycle. The role sits within the Employee Experience team, maintaining data integrity, providing payroll advice to staff and leaders, and ensuring compliance with legislation and enterprise agreements.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering payroll services in a medium to large organisation.
• Experience using payroll and HR information systems, preferably SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll.
• Knowledge of payroll legislation, employment conditions and payroll practices.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A relevant qualification or payroll certification is desirable.
• Public-sector or complex industrial environment experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end payroll and employee lifecycle transactions.
• Provide clear and responsive payroll advice and support.
• Complete reconciliations, validation and quality assurance activities.
• Apply relevant legislation, employment conditions and Enterprise Agreement provisions.
