Victorian Institute of Forensic Medicine in Melbourne seeks a Payroll & Reporting Officer to deliver accurate, timely end-to-end payroll across the employee lifecycle. You will support workforce reporting, resolve queries, and contribute to process improvements within a high-performing team.

The role requires experience in public sector payroll, strong data literacy, and proficiency with Chris21 and HR systems.

Qualifications

• Experience performing end-to-end payroll in a public sector or regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, superannuation, and enterprise agreements.
• Analytical data literacy and ability to produce workforce reports.
• Proven accuracy and attention to detail with data integrity.

Responsabilités

• Deliver end-to-end fortnightly payroll processing, including new starters, terminations, changes, leave, and superannuation.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure data integrity.
• Prepare payroll and workforce reporting with meaningful insights for compliance.
• Respond to payroll enquiries and resolve discrepancies.
• Administer WorkCover payments in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Ensure payroll activities comply with agreements, legislation, policies and procedures.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of payroll processes and reporting.
• Collaborate across People & Culture to deliver high-quality service.
