Job summary

AWS Australia is seeking a dynamic and motivated Account Manager to join the NSW Public Sector team in Sydney. The role focuses on developing and managing a sales pipeline, delivering on account strategies, and building relationships with key decision makers across NSW Government agencies.

You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to present compelling cloud solutions, accelerate adoption of AWS services, and drive customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in Sales/Business Development or Account Management roles.
• 5+ years of technology platform sales with an understanding of government IT, data centers, cloud services and cloud adoption experience.

Responsibilities

• Work to increasing adoption of AWS cloud services in a defined territory.
• Help create and maintain a robust sales pipeline of opportunities in existing accounts as well as driving net new business
• Articulate a compelling value propositions to customers
• Work with AWS partners to manage joint selling opportunities
• Assist customers in identifying use cases for adoption of cloud services
• Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts
