Elastic, the Search Analytics company, is seeking a dynamic Public Sector Account Executive to lead government and higher education expansion across an assigned territory. You will drive net-new revenue and expansion by building pipeline, guiding executives, and delivering value-based outcomes with Elastic’s platform.

Qualifications

• Proven track record selling into State Government and/or Higher Education
• Ability to articulate value for Elastic’s Search, Observability, and Security platforms
• Executive-level communication with C-suite and senior stakeholders
• Strong understanding of data sovereignty, security clearance, and compliance requirements

Responsibilities

• Prospect and generate pipeline in government/education accounts through outbound activities
• Drive adoption of Elastic AI-powered search, Observability and Security solutions in enterprise accounts
• Lead with value-based selling and develop credible business cases for customers
• Navigate complex sales cycles; manage multi-stakeholder deals using MEDDPICC framework
• Partner with Solutions Architects, Customer Success, Marketing and RevOps to accelerate deals and outcomes
• Develop and execute strategic territory plans to grow public sector revenue
