Job summary

Elastic, the Search AI Company, seeks a Public Sector Account Executive to lead growth into State Government and Higher Education across Australia. You will drive net-new revenue and expansion within Public Sector accounts, building pipeline with outbound activity and strategic engagement.

You will blend technical curiosity with a value-based selling approach, articulating Elastic's capabilities—Search, Observability, Security—to deliver measurable outcomes for government and education clients.

Qualifications

• Experience selling to State Government and/or Higher Education
• Ability to challenge customers with insights and value
• Strong executive communication and negotiation skills

Responsibilities

• Prospect and build pipeline in government and higher education accounts
• Drive adoption of Elastic AI, Observability and Security solutions
• Act as trusted advisor translating tech into business value
• Navigate complex procurement, security, and sovereignty requirements
• Identify new use cases and expand within assigned territory
• Manage multi-stakeholder deals and complex sales cycles
• Collaborate with Solutions Architects, Success, Marketing and RevOps to accelerate outcomes
