Job summary

Civica is seeking an experienced IT Program Lead in Melbourne for a 6-12 month fixed-term contract. The role focuses on owning a major technology integration following a business acquisition, coordinating multiple workstreams, governance, and risk management to deliver end-to-end outcomes.

The successful candidate will have deep experience in IT integration post-M&A, a strong consulting background, and excellent stakeholder engagement with senior executives.

This is a senior, client‑facing role responsible for leading the integration end to end, from planning and governance through to execution. You will establish the integration roadmap, coordinate multiple workstreams, manage risks and dependencies, and provide clear progress updates to senior client executives.

The successful candidate will bring proven experience leading IT integration through at least one M&A transaction, combined with the consulting background and stakeholder management skills to make an immediate impact.

This is a 6‑12 month fixed‑term contract, based in Melbourne, with an ASAP start. The role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with some time in the Melbourne office required to support collaboration, stakeholder engagement and programme delivery.

Essential Skills and experience

• Proven experience leading IT integration for at least one merger or acquisition.
• Strong consulting background, with experience operating in client‑facing environments.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute complex IT integration plans and roadmaps.
• Experience establishing programme governance, reporting, risk management and dependency tracking.
