Job summary

Saffire Freycinet is seeking a Public Areas Attendant to maintain the cleanliness and presentation of our lodge’s public spaces, guest facilities and back-of-house areas. The role requires attention to detail, a positive attitude and the ability to work independently as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning, housekeeping, hospitality or customer service is desirable.

• Flexible with shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of public areas throughout the lodge.
• Ensure guest facilities and common spaces are well presented.
• Clean and refresh guest and staff areas to high standards.
• Respond promptly to housekeeping requests and operational needs.
• Follow safe work practices and maintain hygiene standards.
• Support the wider housekeeping team when required.

What you can expect in a day in this role

In this full-time role as a Public Areas Attendant, you'll play an important role in ensuring our guest-facing and shared spaces are impeccably presented at all times. From our lounge and dining areas through to guest facilities and back-of-house spaces, your attention to detail will help create the welcoming and luxurious environment Saffire is renowned for.

Working as part of our housekeeping team, you'll be responsible for:

• Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of public areas throughout the lodge
• Ensuring guest facilities, amenities and common spaces are consistently well presented
• Cleaning and refreshing guest and staff areas to the highest standards
• Responding promptly to housekeeping requests and operational requirements
• Following safe work practices and maintaining exceptional hygiene standards
• Supporting the wider housekeeping team where required

What you'll bring to the role

• A keen eye for detail and pride in delivering quality work
• A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a team environment
• The ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
• Previous cleaning, housekeeping, hospitality or customer service experience is desirable
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• A genuine passion for creating exceptional guest experiences
