Job summary

Country Club Tasmania in Launceston is seeking an experienced Cleaning & Laundry Supervisor to lead the team and uphold our high presentation standards. The role reports to the Cleaning Manager and involves coordinating daily cleaning and laundry operations, rostering, and stock management.

We value hands-on leadership, strong organisation, and a customer-focused approach. You will oversee uniforms, linen, and inventory, while training and guiding staff to maintain exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong organisational skills to prioritise tasks.
• Keen eye for detail to maintain high standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence using computer systems for reporting/rostering.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily cleaning and laundry operations, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
• Lead and support the cleaning and laundry team to deliver exceptional presentation standards across the property.
• Oversee the laundering, pressing, repair and distribution of uniforms, linen and other property items.
• Monitor stock levels of cleaning and laundry supplies, placing orders and maintaining inventory as required.
• Train, coach and support team members, while promoting a positive and productive team environment.
• Assist with rostering, labour management and reporting while ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety standards.
• Roll up your sleeves and assist with cleaning and laundry duties when required, leading by example every step of the way.

What can youexpectin a day in this role:

We are looking for our next leaders in our cleaning and laundry team. Reporting to the Cleaning Manager you will lead by example and help organise the daily tasks, you will also:

• A keen eye for detail to maintain high presentation and cleanliness standards.
• Sound problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions confidently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and customer‑focused approach.
• Confidence using computer systems for reporting, rostering or administrative tasks.
• A hands‑on attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to support the team wherever needed.
