Hobart Town Hotel in Hobart, TAS, is seeking passionate locals with leadership experience to join our team and mentor staff while delivering outstanding guest experiences.

As a key leader, you will oversee service, bookings, daily operations, and staff development, with a focus on local Tasmanian produce and a memorable customer journey. Join a historic venue that values hospitality and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in the restaurant industry, ideally within Tasmania.
• RSA and ideally a food handling certificate, demonstrating food safety awareness.

• Show genuine interest in local produce and local events.
• Ensure efficient restaurant operation.
• Manage bookings and balance seat capacity.

What you need

• Extensive experience in the restaurant industry ideally within Tasmania
• RSA and ideally food handling certificate - You must have a strong awareness of food safety and compliance
• Experience successfully training, mentoring and leading F&B Teams
• Commercial awareness, take a genuine interest in ensuring the financial success of the venue
• Outstanding service focus and the ability to impart that on the team
• Strong food and wine knowledge particularly of local Tasmanian produce
