Job summary

WorkCover Queensland is seeking a Provider Payments Representative to ensure providers and stakeholders receive accurate, timely support on payment and finalised claim matters. You will register and maintain provider accounts, reconcile discrepancies, process refunds and payment adjustments, support debt recovery, and finalise claims while directing work to claim owners.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial processing, payments or provider account management is highly regarded; experience in workers’ compensation, insurance or health services is desirable, and a qualification in business, finance or administration will also be well regarded.

• Registering and maintaining provider accounts
• Reconciling discrepancies in payments and accounts
• Processing refunds and payment adjustments
• Supporting debt recovery and finalising claims
• Directing work to claim owners and collaborating with Claims and other internal teams to protect accuracy and integrity of provider payments.
