Job summary

InsureBuild in Heidelberg West, VIC is seeking an Estimator to be the first point of contact for clients, insurers and sub-contractors. You will perform reinstatement estimations for domestic and commercial buildings damaged by insurable events.

Based in Melbourne's VIC Metro area, you will conduct site assessments, prepare quotes, liaise with insurance providers, and ensure compliance with OH&S and industry standards. A Carpentry trade background and strong communication are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Qualified Carpentry trade background preferred.
• Strong time and organisational management skills.
• Excellent communication skills with empathy for customers.
• Insurance industry building experience is an advantage but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site assessments and quotations for damaged properties.
• Assess damage by collecting information for accurate causation reports.
• Liaise between insurers and homeowners.
• Assist customer service staff with client queries.
• Ensure OH&S and legal compliance.
• Adhere to insurer and internal KPI’s.
