Job summary

Statewide Building & Restorations Group—Melbourne VIC—is seeking an Insurance Building Estimator. You will conduct site inspections, prepare detailed estimates, and coordinate restoration work for residential and commercial insurance claims, liaising with insurers and clients.

You will support project delivery with the Construction Manager, monitor progress, and ensure work complies with NCC, BCA, and WHS standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in insurance building repairs, restoration, or construction estimation.
• Trade qualification or trade background is highly regarded.
• Strong knowledge of NCC and WHS requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections and damage assessments following insured events.
• Prepare accurate estimates and scopes of work for residential and commercial claims.
• Liaise with insurers, policyholders, trades, and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor repair progress and ensure timely, on-budget delivery.
• Maintain documentation and reporting throughout each project.
