Job summary

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Property Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operational and financial performance of commercial office assets. This is a hands-on role where you will work closely with ownership, asset management, Property Managers, Facilities Managers, tenants, contractors and service providers to ensure the portfolio is operating to a high standard, delivering an exceptional tenant experience and protecting long-term asset value.

Key responsibilities

• Overseeing day-to-day property operations, facilities and building services
• Managing contractors, consultants and service providers, including procurement and performance
• Coordinating maintenance, compliance, building works and capital projects
• Monitoring operating budgets, expenditure, contracts and financial performance
• Managing tenant operational requirements and supporting positive tenant relationships
• Identifying operational risks, cost efficiencies and opportunities to improve asset performance
• Working closely with Property and Asset Management teams to deliver ownership objectives
• Ensuring buildings are safe, compliant, well maintained and presented to a high standard

About you

• Experience in commercial property, property operations or facilities management, ideally within a commercial office environment
• Commercially minded with strong financial and budget management skills
• Experienced in contractor, facilities and service provider management
• Confident managing compliance, maintenance and operational requirements
• Strong communicator who can build effective relationships with tenants and stakeholders
• Highly organised, proactive and solutions focused
• Comfortable taking ownership and managing multiple priorities
• Focused on delivering high standards of service and operational performance
• A qualification in Property, Real Estate, Facilities Management, Business, Commerce or a related discipline will be advantageous
