Job summary

Minor Hotels is seeking a Property Manager to join the Melbourne team on a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover. Based in Melbourne CBD, you will manage a boutique portfolio under Minor Hotels branding, provide outstanding tenant service, and support leasing and property handovers.

Qualifications

• Hold a Class 2 licence.
• Minimum 2 years Property Management experience.
• Strong communication skills capable of building lasting tenant, owner and stakeholder relationships.
• Knowledge of property management procedures and current legislation.
• Excellent time management with ability to meet deadlines and work autonomously.
• Flexible availability to work Saturdays on an ad hoc basis.

• Conduct open, routine, entry and exit inspections.

Based in our vibrant Melbourne office, you'll be part of a small, supportive team that’s backed by the strength and scale of a global hotel group.

Key Responsibilities include:

Manage and maintain a portfolio of Minor Hotels branded apartments (Oaks Hotels, Avani Hotels)

Manage incoming rental enquiries, always providing exceptional customer service

Conduct open, routine, entry and exit inspections as required

Communicate effectively with tenants

Draft and support in the administration of leasing and property handovers

Address maintenance issues and liaise with tradespeople

Utilise the console cloud program for effective property management

Shift Details (subject to change):

Monday to Friday position

Office located in Melbourne CBD

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will have:

Hold a Class 2licence

Minimum 2 years Property Management experience

Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships with tenants, owners and stakeholders

Solid knowledge of property management procedures, including a strong understanding of current legislation requirements

Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work towards deadlines and prioritise as required

Positive attitude, with the ability to work as part of a team but also autonomously

Availability to work Saturdays when required (on an ad hoc basis)
