Minor Hotels AU & NZ, based in Melbourne, is seeking a motivated Property Manager to join MINT Residential for a 12-month maternity cover. You will manage a boutique portfolio, handle tenant inquiries, coordinate inspections, draft leasing handovers, and liaise with tradespeople under a supportive, global team.

The role offers hybrid working options, a collaborative environment, and a strong focus on service quality. A minimum of 2 years property management experience is required.

Qualifications

• Hold a Class 2 licence.
• Minimum 2 years Property Management experience.
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to build tenant/owner relationships.
• Solid knowledge of property management procedures and current legislation.
• Excellent time management with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Positive attitude, able to work in a team or autonomously.
• Availability to work Saturdays when required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a boutique portfolio of Minor Hotels branded apartments.
• Handle rental enquiries with exceptional customer service.
• Conduct open, routine, entry and exit inspections.
• Communicate effectively with tenants and owners.
• Draft and support leasing and property handovers administration.
• Address maintenance issues and coordinate with tradespeople.
• Utilise Console Cloud for property management tasks.

Based in our vibrant Melbourne office, you'll be part of a small, supportive team that’s backed by the strength and scale of a global hotel group.

This is a rare opportunity to make a real impact in a collaborative environment where your skills are valued, and your career can thrive, with very limited Saturday work required!

Key Responsibilities include:

• Manage and maintain a portfolio of Minor Hotels branded apartments (Oaks Hotels, Avani Hotels)
• Manage incoming rental enquiries, always providing exceptional customer service
• Conduct open, routine, entry and exit inspections as required
• Communicate effectively with tenants
• Draft and support in the administration of leasing and property handovers
• Address maintenance issues and liaise with tradespeople
• Utilise the console cloud program for effective property management

Shift Details (subject to change):

• Monday to Friday position
• Office located in Melbourne CBD

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Hold a Class 2licence
• Minimum 2 years Property Management experience
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships with tenants, owners and stakeholders
• Solid knowledge of property management procedures, including a strong understanding of current legislation requirements
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work towards deadlines and prioritise as required
• Positive attitude, with the ability to work as part of a team but also autonomously
• Availability to work Saturdays when required (on an ad hoc basis)
