Job summary

Morton Real Estate is seeking a part-time Property Inspection & Leasing Officer to cover our City, Green Square and Newington offices, travelling across Sydney in your own vehicle. The role combines inspections and leasing duties, with full training and a supportive team.

You must hold a current Real Estate license or Assistant Agent certificate, have a driving license, and be comfortable working four days per week (Tue–Sat). Salary and car allowance offered within the Real Estate Award.

• Current Real Estate License or Assistant Agent Certificate required.
• Commercial driving license not specified; a driving license and car are needed.

Responsibilities

• Organize and complete routine, ingoing, outgoing and leasing inspections.
• Liaise with tenants for access details and ensure smooth inspection processes.
• Conduct inspections with reports and photos/360 videos.
• Manage end-to-end leasing process for vacant properties.
• Provide guidance to tenants and landlords during leasing.
• Maintain records using company software.

We're looking for someone who loves variety and enjoys being out and about. You'll work across our City, Green Square and Newington offices, spending your days inspecting properties, meeting tenants, conducting ingoing and outgoing inspections, and showing homes to prospective renters.

With a strong administration team handling much of the paperwork, you'll have the support you need to focus on what you do best, being on the ground and delivering exceptional service.

Join Morton, a multi-office independent agency with a strong presence across Sydney. We're seeking an energetic and professional Property Inspection & Leasing Officer to support our high-performing Property Management team.

You’ll provide inspection and leasing support across our City, Green Square and Newington offices, so you’ll need to be comfortable travelling throughout Sydney using your own vehicle.

This role is offered on a part-time basis (4 days per week). We’re ideally looking for someone available Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. Saturdays are an important part of real estate, however we’re happy to be flexible on weekdays for the right candidate.

This is a fantastic opportunity for:

• Someone with a customer service, hospitality, retail or client-facing background looking to start a career in real estate; or
• An experienced Leasing Consultant or Inspection Officer seeking to join a supportive and well-established agency.

Full training and ongoing support will be provided.

Responsibilities include:

• Organize and complete routine, ingoing, outgoing and leasing inspections.
• Liaise with tenants for access details and ensure smooth inspection processes.
• Conduct thorough inspections with detailed reports and photos/360 degree videos.
• Report inspection outcomes and recommendations to the Property Manager.
• Manage the end-to-end leasing process for vacant properties.
• Provide guidance and advice to prospective tenants and our landlords during leasing.
• Maintain accurate records and manage property details using company software.
