- Previous experience in a property Officer/Receptionist position is highly desired.
- Approachable, positive-minded and enjoys collaborative teamwork.
- Highly organized with an exemplary eye for detail, capable of working autonomously.
- Possesses excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must own a reliable car and hold a current driver's license.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Assist the Property Manager with the day-to-day management of a residential property portfolio.
- Coordinate maintenance requests and liaise with landlords, tenants and tradespeople to ensure timely completion of repairs.
- Conduct routine, ingoing and outgoing property inspections and prepare detailed inspection reports.
- Respond promptly to tenant and landlord enquiries via phone and email.
- Prepare lease documentation, tenancy agreements, lease renewals and other property management correspondence.
- Assist with rent reviews and lease renewals in accordance with current legislation.
- Monitor maintenance progress and follow up on outstanding work orders.
- Maintain accurate property records and update the agency's property management software.
- Assist with arrears management and administrative tasks as directed.
- Ensure compliance with the Residential Tenancies Act, agency policies and procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service while building strong relationships with landlords, tenants and contractors.
- Support the Property Management team with general administration and other duties as required.
