Job summary

Northern Avenue Property is seeking an experienced Property Inspection Manager to join our Melbourne team. You will plan your week flexibly, perform routine inspections, and prepare professional reports while coordinating with builders for new properties across Metro Melbourne.

We offer a hybrid work model with two work-from-home days weekly and an office base in Fitzroy. You will engage with renters, owners, and trades, maintaining proactive maintenance and exceptional service standards.

Qualifications

• Real estate experience is highly regarded but not essential.
• Current Agent’s Representative Certificate or Certificate IV in Real Estate.
• Own reliable vehicle.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• genuine interest in property and high level of service.
• Ability to work independently and manage a busy schedule.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out routine inspections and preparing clear, concise and professional reports.
• Completing handovers with builders for new properties across Metro Melbourne.
• Completing detailed ingoing condition reports.
• Liaising with New Business and Property Management teams.
• Conducting private and open-for inspections when Leasing Team requires support.
• Supporting key maintenance management processes.
• Building positive relationships with renters, owners, builders and trades.

Northern Avenue Property is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced, organised and people-focused Property Inspection Manager to join our team.

This is a role for someone who enjoys variety, autonomy. You’ll have the flexibility to plan your work week around your working style, while still meeting the needs of our clients, renters and business.

No two days are the same. You’ll be responsible for:

• Carrying out routine inspections and preparing clear, concise and professional reports
• Completing handovers with builders for new properties across Metro Melbourne
• Completing detailed ingoing condition reports
• Liaising closely with our New Business and Property Management teams
• Conducting private and open-for inspections when our Leasing Team requires support
• Supporting key maintenance management processes
• Building positive relationships with renters, owners, builders and trades

Our Team works Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, with every third Saturday required.

• For Saturdays worked, you’ll receive a full day off midweek in lieu.
• We also offer 2 days working from home each week, with the remaining days spent working from our beautiful office in Fitzroy.

We’re Looking for Someone Who Is

• Highly organised and able to manage their own schedule
• Detail-oriented, particularly when completing inspection reports
• Professional, reliable and proactive
• Comfortable working independently while being an integral part of a team

Enjoys being on the road - this is not a role for someone who wants to sit behind a desk all day!
