Job summary

Redpath Partners in Sydney seeks an experienced Manager or Associate Director to join its property finance advisory team. You will lead complex debt and equity transactions across Australia and New Zealand, from initial assessment through settlement, with direct exposure to borrowers, capital partners and senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years' experience in property finance, private credit, real estate debt or structured finance.
• Experience executing property-backed debt transactions, typically from $10m to $100m+.
• Strong financial modelling and advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience preparing credit submissions and information memorandums.
• Understanding of property finance structures, credit risk and due diligence.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with borrowers, lenders and stakeholders.
• Commercial, detail‑oriented and proactive; able to manage multiple transactions.
• Collaborative and committed to a long-term career in a growing advisory business.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute property finance transactions ranging from $10m to $100m+, across multiple asset classes.
• Oversee transactions from initial assessment and modelling through to due diligence, credit approval and settlement.
• Prepare detailed financial models, investment memorandums and credit submissions.
• Assess underlying property fundamentals, borrower financials, risks and funding structures.
• Coordinate external advisers including valuers, surveyors and legal counsel.
• Liaise with borrowers and capital partners, maintaining strong relationships throughout.
• Manage conditions precedent, legal documentation and settlement processes.
• Work with senior leadership on transaction execution and business opportunities.
