Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in real estate finance with a proven ability to manage multi‑jurisdiction deals, develop client relationships and draft sophisticated financing documents in a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years plus post‑admission experience in real estate finance.
• Experience advising on the full range of real estate financings.
• Strong drafting skills across facility agreements, intercreditor agreements and side deeds.
• Excellent analytical, communication and negotiation capabilities.
• Highly organised and proficient in managing transactions and workstreams.
• Proven track record in building and maintaining effective relationships.
• Commitment to continuous learning and skill development for lawyers.
• Commercial, questioning mindset and pragmatic legal practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead transactions end‑to‑end and participate in business development initiatives.
• Collaborate with sponsors, institutional investors and private credit providers.
• Work with partners across the firm on cross‑border Australian real estate financings.
• Draft facility agreements, intercreditor deeds and related documents.
• Supervise, support and mentor lawyers, graduates and clerks.
• Build client relationships through business development and knowledge sharing.
