Job summary

WorkPac Group is seeking a Multi-Skilled Operator for a coal mine near Moura in Central Queensland. You will operate KOM 830E Dump Trucks loaded by an Excavator, along with CAT D10/D11 Dozers, CAT 16H/18M Graders, CAT Loader 992 and Hitachi 5600 Excavators.

Shifts are 12.5 hours on a 7/7 rotating day/night schedule, with local Moura and DIDO options. A Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical within 2 years and a current Western Australian/Australian drivers license are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum mining experience as a Multi-Skilled Operator in coal mining, operating 3+ machines.
• Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical within last 2 years or willing to obtain.
• Current Driver's Licence & right to work in Australia.
• Ability to pass a drug and alcohol screen.

Responsibilities

• Operate KOM 830E Dump Trucks loaded by an Excavator and support equipment.
• Work 12.5-hour shifts on a 7/7 roster with day and night rotations.
• Contribute to production targets and site safety standards.

• $87.29/hour + Monthly production bonuses!

What you will be Doing

You will be working as a Multi-Skilled Operators within the Production Department on a coal mine near Moura. You will be operating KOM 830E Dump Trucks being loaded by an Excavator, CAT D10 OR D11 Dozers, CAT 16H & 18M Graders, CAT Loaders up to 992 and/or Hitachi 5600 Excavators. You will be working 12.5-hour shifts on a 7/7 Wednesday to Tuesday or Thursday to Wednesday rotating day and night roster. These roles are available to local (Moura) & DIDO candidates.

What you will need

• Previous mining experience working as a Multi-Skilled Operator within a coal mining environment operating a minimum of 3 machines above
• You will need to have obtained a Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical within last 2 years or be willing to attain this.
• Current Drivers Licence & right to work in Australia
• Ability to pass a drug and alcohol screen
