Job summary

WorkPac is staffing a Multi-Skilled Operator for a coal mine near Moura in Queensland. You will operate heavy equipment on a 12.5-hour shift with a 7/7 roster, rotating day and night, at a Moura site.

You will need Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical current, a valid Drivers Licence and right to work in Australia, and pass a drug/alcohol screen. Local rental subsidy is available for Moura candidates, with immediate start and strong pay rates.

Qualifications

• Previous mining experience as a Multi-Skilled Operator in coal mining.
• Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical updated in last 2 years or willing to obtain.
• Current Drivers Licence and right to work in Australia; drug/alcohol screen pass.

Responsibilities

• Operate KOM 830E dump trucks loaded by excavators and dozers.
• Work on 12.5-hour shifts, 7/7 rosters with day/night rotation.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping and operate additional listed machines.

What you will be Doing

You will be working as a Multi-Skilled Operators within the Production Department on a coal mine near Moura. You will be operating KOM 830E Dump Trucks being loaded by an Excavator, CAT D10 OR D11 Dozers, CAT 16H & 18M Graders, CAT Loaders up to 992 and/or Hitachi 5600 Excavators. You will be working 12.5-hour shifts on a 7/7 Wednesday to Tuesday or Thursday to Wednesday rotating day and night roster. These roles are available to local (Moura) & DIDO candidates.

What you will need

• Previous mining experience working as a Multi-Skilled Operator within a coal mining environment operating a minimum of 3 machines above
• You will need to have obtained a Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical within last 2 years or be willing to attain this.
• Current Drivers Licence & right to work in Australia
• Ability to pass a drug and alcohol screen
