Job summary

WorkPac is seeking a Multi-Skilled Operator for a coal mine near Moura in Central Queensland. You will operate large equipment including KOM 830E dump trucks, excavators, and CAT dozers on a 12.5-hour 7/7 roster with day/night rotations.

Local Moura candidates or DIDO arrangements available. Immediate start with industry-leading pay rates and rental subsidy for local candidates to Moura.

Qualifications

• Minimum mining experience as a multi-skilled operator (coal).
• Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical within last 2 years or willing to attain.
• Current Drivers Licence & right to work in Australia.
• Ability to pass a drug & alcohol screen.

Responsibilities

• Operate KOM 830E Dump Trucks loaded by an Excavator.
• Operate CAT D10 or D11 Dozers.
• Operate CAT 16H & 18M Graders.
• Operate CAT Loaders up to 992 and Hitachi 5600 Excavators.
• Work 12.5-hour shifts on a 7/7 roster (Wed–Tues or Thurs–Wed) with day/night rotation.

What you will be Doing

You will be working as a Multi-Skilled Operators within the Production Department on a coal mine near Moura. You will be operating KOM 830E Dump Trucks being loaded by an Excavator, CAT D10 OR D11 Dozers, CAT 16H & 18M Graders, CAT Loaders up to 992 and/or Hitachi 5600 Excavators. You will be working 12.5-hour shifts on a 7/7 Wednesday to Tuesday or Thursday to Wednesday rotating day and night roster. These roles are available to local (Moura) & DIDO candidates.

What you will need

• Previous mining experience working as a Multi-Skilled Operator within a coal mining environment operating a minimum of 3 machines above
• You will need to have obtained a Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical within last 2 years or be willing to attain this.
• Current Drivers Licence & right to work in Australia
• Ability to pass a drug and alcohol screen
