Job summary

Tri Tech Refrigeration is seeking an experienced Project Supervisor to oversee welding, fabrication, pipework and industrial refrigeration installations on our Brisbane projects.

You will lead trades, coordinate subcontractors, ensure safety and quality, and deliver works on program. This hands-on role requires coordinating multiple trades, reading engineering drawings, and maintaining WHS compliance in a demanding industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising welding, fabrication, pipework and industrial mechanical projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily site activities across welding, fabrication, pipework and industrial refrigeration works.
• Lead and coordinate welders, boilermakers, mechanical trades, refrigeration technicians and subcontractors.
• Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, welding procedures, specifications and project documentation.
• Monitor welding and fabrication quality and ensure compliance with relevant standards and project requirements.
• Oversee installation of industrial refrigeration systems and associated pipework.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Project Supervisor to oversee the delivery of welding, fabrication, pipework and industrial refrigeration installation works across our projects. This is a key site-based leadership role suited to an experienced Welding, Fabrication or Mechanical Supervisor who is confident coordinating trades, subcontractors and site activities in a demanding industrial environment. You will take ownership of day-to-day site delivery, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, to specification and in line with project programmes and quality requirements.

Key responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily site activities across welding, fabrication, pipework and industrial refrigeration works.

Lead and coordinate welders, boilermakers, mechanical trades, refrigeration technicians and subcontractors.

Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

Read and interpret engineering drawings, welding procedures, specifications and project documentation.

Monitor welding and fabrication quality and ensure compliance with relevant standards and project requirements.

About you

Proven experience supervising welding, fabrication, pipework and/or industrial mechanical projects.

Strong experience working with welders, boilermakers and mechanical trades.

A solid understanding of welding, fabrication and industrial pipework.

The ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans and specifications.

Strong leadership, communication and people-management skills.

The ability to coordinate multiple trades, subcontractors and activities simultaneously.

A practical, hands-on and solutions-focused approach.

A strong understanding of WHS requirements and site safety.

Good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

Relevant trade qualifications and/or substantial project or site supervision experience.
