Job summary

Amida Group in Sydney is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead fit-out and refurbishment projects across commercial sectors. You will own projects from pre-construction through to completion, coordinating clients, consultants and subcontractors, while keeping safety, schedule and budget on track.

Applicants should have 7 to 15+ years in commercial fit-out/refurbishment, a tertiary Construction Management or Engineering qualification, and a proven ability to manage programmes, cost

Responsibilities

• Manage fit-out and refurbishment projects from commencement through to completion
• Oversee project programmes, budgets, procurement and cost control
• Coordinate subcontractors, consultants and project stakeholders
• Manage project risks, variations and reporting requirements
• Ensure project delivery meets safety, quality, programme and commercial objectives
• Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
• Lead and mentor project teams to achieve successful project outcomes

A market leading team with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects, our client is now seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their growing business in Sydney.

Offering a range of services to their high-end clients, the company specialises in commercial fit-out and refurbishment with projects covering 5-star Hotels, Office, Retail, Hospitality and Leisure (high end restaurants, clubs, pubs), Health and Tertiary. Incorporating a wide range of skillsets, their refurbishment work can have a large element of structural trades, heavy demolition, facades, steel and concrete (adding or removing levels etc).

As Project Manager, you will take ownership of projects from pre-construction through to completion, working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Years of experience:

7 to 15+ years

• Minimum 7+ years' experience ideally in commercial fit-out and/or refurbishment projects
• Strong understanding of construction delivery, contracts and project documentation
• Excellent stakeholder, client and subcontractor management skills
• Commercially focused with strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
