Job summary

TalentWeb is partnering with one of Sydney's leading builders to appoint an experienced Project Manager for a landmark Class 2 residential development in Sydney valued at circa $850m and around 820 apartments.

You will work closely with the Construction Manager and an established delivery team to drive the program, commercial outcomes and successful delivery. This is a significant appointment with long-term career potential on a strong project portfolio.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale Class 2 residential or mixed-use developments.
• Experience working with head contractors or developers in Australia.
• Strong understanding of multi-storey construction, structures, façades, services and finishes.

Responsibilities

• Drive the construction program and schedule for a landmark Sydney development.
• Manage project budgets, procurement of subcontractors and commercial outcomes.
• Coordinate consultants and multiple trades to deliver on time and to budget.

The Opportunity

The business is looking to appoint an experienced Project Managerto take a leading role in delivering a landmark Class 2 residential development in Sydney, valued at circa $850m and comprising approximately 820 apartments.

This is a significant appointment on a project of exceptional scale and complexity. Working closely with the Construction Manager and an established delivery team, you will play a key role in driving the construction program, commercial performance and successful delivery of the development.

For an accomplished Project Manager looking to take on a high-profile project with the backing of an established builder and a substantial pipeline of future work, this represents an excellent long-term opportunity.

About You

• Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering large-scale Class 2 residential or mixed-use developments.
• Background working with an established head contractor or developer builder in Australia
• Strong technical understanding of multi-storey construction, including structures, façades, building services and internal finishes.
• Demonstrated experience managing construction programs, subcontractor procurement, project budgets and commercial outcomes.
• Confident leading project teams, managing consultants and coordinating multiple trades across complex developments.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and leadership skills, with the ability to drive performance and maintain accountability.
• Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
