Job summary

Transmin Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a portfolio of capital projects in the mining and materials handling sectors. You will drive delivery against commercial and contractual requirements, coordinating procurement, planning labour and resources, and maintaining rigorous cost controls across multiple sites.

The role requires strong stakeholder management, excellent communication, and the ability to interpret engineering documentation and drawings.

Qualifications

• Experience managing capital projects in manufacturing, mining, engineering, or related industries.
• Strong commercial acumen and contract management experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage awarded projects and contracts to ensure delivery against commercial and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate procurement activities to source quality goods and services on schedule and cost effectively.
• Plan labour and resources with workshop and operational teams.
• Monitor project budgets, costs, risks, schedules and performance.
• Prepare and deliver commercial, technical and financial reporting including WIP reporting.
• Manage project invoicing and contract administration activities.
• Identify and mitigate project risks while driving continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
• Travel to site when required to support project delivery.

As our business continues to grow we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team and play a key role in delivering a diverse portfolio of capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage awarded projects and contracts to ensure successful delivery against commercial and contractual requirements
• Coordinate procurement activities, ensuring quality goods and services are sourced cost effectively and on schedule
• Partner with workshop and operational teams to effectively plan labour and resources.
• Monitor project budgets, costs, risks, schedules and performance
• Prepare and deliver commercial, technical and financial reporting, including Work in Progress (WIP) reporting
• Manage project invoicing and contract administration activities
• Identify and mitigate project risks while driving continuous improvement initiatives
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders
• Travel to site when required to support project delivery

About You

Skills

• A qualification in Project Management, Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience managing capital projects within manufacturing, mining, engineering, or related industries
• Strong commercial acumen and experience working with contracts and contractual obligations
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• The ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation
• Proven experience managing project scope, variations, costs and schedules
• Strong risk management and problem-solving capabilities
• Proven experience managing project scope, variations, costs and schedules.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Project, Word and Excel
• Experience using Microsoft Dynamics Business Central
