Job summary

Transmin Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a portfolio of capital projects in the mining and materials handling sectors. You will drive delivery against commercial and contractual requirements, coordinating procurement, planning labour and resources, and maintaining rigorous cost controls across multiple sites.

The role requires strong stakeholder management, excellent communication, and the ability to interpret engineering documentation and drawings.

Qualifications

Experience managing capital projects in manufacturing, mining, engineering, or related industries.
Strong commercial acumen and contract management experience.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Manage awarded projects and contracts to ensure delivery against commercial and contractual requirements.
Coordinate procurement activities to source quality goods and services on schedule and cost effectively.
Plan labour and resources with workshop and operational teams.
Monitor project budgets, costs, risks, schedules and performance.
Prepare and deliver commercial, technical and financial reporting including WIP reporting.
Manage project invoicing and contract administration activities.
Identify and mitigate project risks while driving continuous improvement.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
Travel to site when required to support project delivery.
