Job summary

Epiroc in Perth, WA, is seeking a Project Manager to lead end-to-end automation and technology projects within the Equipment & Service business area. You will drive strategic and operational success through thorough planning, execution, and continuous improvement, coordinating cross-functional teams and managing safety, quality, and delivery.

This role interfaces with customer operations, field teams, and global R&D to translate objectives into actionable plans and ensure a smooth transition

Qualifications

  • Essential: Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
  • Desirable: experience in technology or automation project delivery.
  • Desirable: knowledge of autonomous systems or mining technology deployments.

As a Project Manager, you will be instrumental in driving strategic and operational success through comprehensive project planning, execution, and continuous improvement efforts tailored to meet business objectives. Your leadership will directly impact the efficiency, safety, and quality of project outcomes, supporting cross-functional teams to perform at their best.

The Project Manager plays a key role within the RACE organization by ensuring the successful planning, execution, and delivery of automation and technology projects. The role acts as the interface between customer operations, field teams, and global R&D, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and aligned with customer expectations. This position is responsible for translating project objectives into structured plans, overseeing deployment and installation, managing financial and contractual performance, and ensuring a seamless transition into Business As Usual (BAU) operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee end-to-end project delivery ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Manage and coordinate cross-functional teams, optimizing resources to enhance productivity and project outcomes.
  • Engage proactively with internal and external stakeholders to foster strong working relationships and transparent communication.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and organizational policies.
  • Champion a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement across all project phases.
  • Develop project documentation, including plans, progress reports, and post-project evaluations to ensure thorough tracking and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and technical teams within the AHS department to align project deliverables with technical specifications and client expectations.
