Job summary

Genus is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead all electrical works for the Reeves Plains Energy Hub – a 250 MW Battery Energy Storage System project, located about 50 km north of Adelaide. The role is site‑based and focuses on delivering high‑voltage infrastructure safely and efficiently.

Bring minimum 3 years’ supervisory electrical experience, relevant trade qualifications, and proficiency with ACONEX.

Qualifications

• Electrical trade qualifications and relevant certifications are required.
• Minimum 3 years’ supervisory experience in electrical construction.
• Experience with ACONEX or similar project management software.

Responsibilities

• Lead all electrical works across critical project infrastructure.
• Mentor and manage trades personnel and subcontractors.
• Oversee on-site operations and liaise with engineering teams.
• Enforce safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Prepare daily site reports.
• Develop electrical work packs from IFC drawings.
• Complete MTOs from IFC drawings.

About the Opportunity Local to Reeves Plains and surrounding areas, Genus is seeking an experiencedElectrical Supervisor to join our team and support delivery of the Reeves Plains Energy Hub – 250 MW Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project, located approximately 50 km north of Adelaide.

We are delivering the design, supply, construction, and commissioning of this landmark renewable energy asset. This greenfield project requires strong leadership, technical oversight, and an unwavering commitment to safety, quality, and compliance in a high‑voltage, fast‑paced construction environment.

Your Role & Responsibilities As the Senior Electrical Supervisor, you will lead all electrical works across critical project infrastructure, including:

• Team leadership- mentoring and managing trades personnel and subcontractors
• Daily coordination- overseeing on‑site operations and acting as the key link between project and engineering teams
• Safety & quality enforcement- ensuring strict compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
• Site reporting- preparing accurate daily site reports
• Work pack creation- developing electrical work packs from IFC drawings
• Material Take Offs- completing MTOs from IFC drawings for crews and subcontractors
