Job summary

Genus is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team for the Waddi Wind Farm Project. You will lead electrical construction activities, manage subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality and timely delivery across HV/LV installations and commissioning.

The role requires strong leadership, delivery focus, and a solid track record on high-voltage projects within infrastructure or renewable energy. WA licencing and White Card are essential for site work.

Qualifications

• Electrical trade qualification with a current WA Electrical Licence.
• Demonstrated experience on high-voltage (132kV–330kV) transmission or substation projects.
• Proven supervisory experience within infrastructure, utilities, or renewable energy projects.
• Strong understanding of HV installation, testing, and commissioning practices.
• Ability to lead and motivate site teams in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Sound knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements.
• Current Driver’s Licence.
• Construction Induction (White Card).

Responsibilities

• Supervising electrical subcontractors and field teams during construction activities.
• Overseeing power transformer installations, GIS installations, and HV/LV electrical testing works.
• Monitoring and reporting construction progress while supporting quality inspections and commissioning activities.
• Reviewing and approving subcontractor documentation, SWMS, and work instructions to ensure compliance and project standards are achieved.

About the Opportunity

Genus is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team and support delivery of the Waddi Wind Farm Project.
This major renewable energy project requires a strong leader with proven electrical construction experience, the ability to manage subcontractors and site teams, and a commitment to safety, quality, and project delivery.
The Electrical Supervisor is responsible for providing daily direction, instruction, and guidance to site personnel to achieve project objectives safely and efficiently.
Your day-to-day activities will include:

• Supervising electrical subcontractors and field teams during construction activities.
• Overseeing power transformer installations, GIS installations, and HV/LV electrical testing works.
• Monitoring and reporting construction progress while supporting quality inspections and commissioning activities.
• Reviewing and approving subcontractor documentation, SWMS, and work instructions to ensure compliance and project standards are achieved.

Essential Skills / Qualifications / Experience
