ATCO Structures & Logistics – Luscombe QLD is seeking a Project Estimator to join our Major Projects team. This permanent full-time role based in Luscombe focuses on pricing major workforce accommodation projects and shaping the estimating function.

You will review scopes, prepare site works estimates, issue RFQs, evaluate quotations and collaborate with Design, Engineering and Project Delivery teams to drive accurate cost submissions.

Qualifications

• Experience in estimating within commercial, civil, mining, infrastructure or industrial construction.
• Strong ability to interpret drawings, specifications and scopes of work.
• Experience obtaining and reviewing subcontractor quotations.
• Excellent commercial acumen and attention to detail.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders and competing priorities.

Responsabilités

• Review scopes of work, specifications and construction drawings.
• Prepare detailed site works estimates and cost submissions.
• Issue RFQs and obtain pricing from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Evaluate quotations and identify scope gaps and commercial risks.
• Manage technical clarifications throughout the tender process.
• Build strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Assist in developing estimating tools, templates and cost databases.
• Support the implementation of estimating software and systems.
• Collaborate with Business Development, Design & Engineering and Project Delivery teams.
