SIMPEC is seeking a Project Engineer SMP to join our construction team at Alcoa Pinjarra to oversee and facilitate day to day engineering support. This role will commence asap and will be drive in and out on a daily basis Monday - Friday (with the occasional Saturday).

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years+ experience in mining construction involving structural steel erection, mechanical and piping installation.

Responsibilities

• Implementing, maintaining, coordinating, and expediting procurement and construction elements for the designated work area.
• Identifying and resolving technical engineering issues and problems that may arise throughout the project.
• Creating work packs, test packs; estimation & site variations.
• Developing, preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring specifications for all equipment required for each stage of construction.
• Developing and monitoring KPIs and analysing productivity factors against program and budget.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the project team members.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree Mechanical Engineering
