Job summary

SIMPEC Pty Ltd is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician for the Alcoa RF2 Construction Project in Pinjarra, WA. The role involves on-site installation, commissioning and integration of electrical and instrumentation systems across a six-month+ timeframe.

Roster is Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday work, and a drive-in, drive-out arrangement is available. Ideal candidates will hold an Australian Recognised Trade Certificate, WA Electrical Licence and relevant Instrumentation

Qualifications

• Pass full pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen.
• Previous Construction / Mining experience.
• Australian Recognised Trade Certificate and WA Electrical Licence.
• Cert III or Cert IV Instrumentation.
• Electrical Trade Certificate.
• Low Voltage Rescue & CPR within 1 year.
• Provide First Aid.
• High Risk Work Licence - WP.
• Working at Heights within 2 years.
• Construction Card.
• Valid Driver's Licence.
• Australian Work Rights.
• Must be available to work Saturdays.

About the Role

SIMPEC will provide services for an industrial upgrade, delivering an extensive range of engineering disciplines and construction services including:

• Structural engineering and fabrication
• Mechanical systems installation
• Comprehensive piping networks
• Electrical systems and instrumentation controls
• Civil construction works for foundations and infrastructure
• Full commissioning services to ensure operational readiness

Roster: Monday - Friday with occasional Saturday work

Length of Project: 6+ months

Location: Pinjarra, WA

Essential Qualifications/Tickets:
