Job summary

Monadelphous is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join the Engineering Construction division, supporting the delivery of a major mining project in South Australia. This role is based in Adelaide or surrounding areas with regular site travel and a 2:1 roster as the project progresses.

You will work closely with the Lead Project Engineer and broader team to coordinate engineering and construction delivery, focusing on SMP scopes, planning, and client engagement while ensuring safety and

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Project Engineer in mining or major construction projects.
Experience delivering or supporting SMP scopes on large-scale construction projects.
Strong understanding of construction planning, methodologies and scheduling.
Commercial awareness including cost control and change management.
Strong technical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Support the engineering and construction delivery of assigned SMP work fronts, ensuring activities are planned, coordinated and executed safely and efficiently.
Assist with construction methodologies, work packs, sequencing and short-term planning to support project execution.
Coordinate engineering, materials, labour, equipment and subcontractor requirements to maintain progress against schedules.
Work closely with supervisors and construction teams to resolve technical issues and support delivery.
Support project controls and commercial activities including progress tracking, variations and change management.
Build relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders while ensuring safety and quality requirements.
