Job summary

CGC Recruitment in Sydney is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join a large Class 2 residential project. This contract runs through to the end of 2026 with a strong view to extend, and an ASAP start.

You will take ownership of engineering and delivery responsibilities, coordinating with the Project Manager, Site Manager and design teams to drive technical outcomes and on-time project completion. This role requires strong construction knowledge, experience with drawings and

Qualifications

Experience on large residential/Class 2 projects
Strong technical and construction knowledge
Experience coordinating consultants, subcontractors and design teams
Clear understanding of drawings and specifications

Responsibilities

Manage engineering and technical aspects of the project
Coordinate subcontractors, consultants and design teams
Review and manage drawings, specifications and technical documentation
Manage RFIs, technical queries and design coordination
Assist with procurement, subcontractor coordination and package management
Monitor construction progress against programme and project requirements
Manage quality assurance, inspections and technical compliance
Assist with resolving construction and design issues
Work closely with the Site and Project Management teams to ensure successful project delivery
Maintain strong communication with consultants, subcontractors and project stakeholders
