Job summary

Linktal Recruitment partners with a respected Tier 2 Builder delivering premium Class 2 residential developments across Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs and Lower North Shore. They seek an experienced Project Engineer to contribute to the successful delivery of projects valued between $40M and $100M.

Coordinate project delivery across all stages of construction, manage RFIs and shop drawings, and support procurement and contract administration.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building, or related discipline.
• Proven experience delivering Class 2 residential projects in NSW.
• Experience on projects valued between $40M–$100M is highly regarded.
• Strong understanding of NCC requirements, QA processes, and project delivery.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project delivery across all stages of construction.
• Manage RFIs, shop drawings, design coordination, and consultant interfaces.
• Assist with procurement, subcontractor management, and contract administration.
• Monitor project programmes and construction sequencing.
• Track project costs, variations, procurement schedules, and progress claims.
• Implement and manage QA systems, ITPs, inspections, and compliance documentation.
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain programme objectives.
• Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental, and quality requirements.

About You

• Degree qualified in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building, or a related discipline
• Proven experience as a Project Engineer delivering Class 2 residential projects in NSW

• Strong understanding of NCC requirements, construction methodologies, QA processes, and project delivery
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
