Job summary

Planned Resources in Australia is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join a local government organisation on a contract basis, supporting delivery of a diverse Capital Works program across civil and building projects.

You will manage projects from inception through to handover, supervising contractors, coordinating procurement, budgets, timelines, quality and compliance, and reporting to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising civil/building construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of OH&S, environmental and traffic management requirements.
• Construction White Card and current Australian driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage civil and building projects from planning through to completion
• Supervise contractors and manage project delivery, costs and timelines
• Review plans, specifications, SWMS and ITPs
• Manage variations, contractor payments and project documentation
• Liaise with contractors, consultants, utilities and internal stakeholders
• Provide technical engineering advice and project reporting
